The R&D Studio is the Polyconcept in-house design department and a key creative support for each business division.
The R&D studio has a team of 17 staff based on 3 continents (Europe, Asia, North America), who constantly interact with product management teams in each Division and with the Polyconcept sourcing organization.
The R&D Studio combines multi-cultural design capabilities, technical skills in many product fields (cut and sewn products, gifts, electronics, etc.) and best-in-class support (fully integrated CAD technologies, outsourced services from the best specialists in selected fields of expertise, etc...). These resources generate tremendous value upstream in the process cycle to create desirable and cost-efficient promotional products.
The R&D Studio serves the specific creative needs of each Division. For example, when supporting the Supplier Business Divisions' product development cycle or assisting ADM in proactively developing proposals for its customers, the R&D Studio applies the following key principles:
Retail-inspired concept development, factoring in local market specifics
Trend-spotting strategy for optimized risk management
Leveraging the branding and licensing strengths of the Group to achieve enhanced promotional impact for products
Fostering cross fertilization of products and brands between Divisions.
Over 400 products developed every year under 30 proprietary or licensed brands, with creative solutions from concept to manufacturing. About 60% of Polyconcept sales are achieved with designs created or adapted in-house. |
